kaeleeI feel so blessed to have been part of Isabelle’s birth! It is such an honor to photograph a birth. To be invited to capture such a raw and emotional time. I feel very honored every time I am hired to do a birth story.
I am not going to lie every time I photograph a birth I get so excited, I love witnessing the miracle of birth and all the emotions that go along with it. But I also feel quite a bit of anxiety- anxiety about waiting for baby’s arrival, anxiety about if I will make it to the hospital in time, anxiety about who will watch my kids if I have to leave while my husband is at work, anxiety about leaving my kid’s in general! But everything always falls into place and everyone is safe & sound.
WOW- Shannon rocked Isabelle’s birth! This was a VBAC for Shannon. She did it and she did it well! I am amazed at how strong she was. She brought baby Isabelle earth side like it was no thing! Dad, Will, was so supportive and never left her side. I may have cried 🙂
