On my quick trip to Denver last week I got to see my good friend Annie and her lovely family!

Alex is an Angelman- literally! Alex has Angelman Syndrome. Angelman syndrome is a neuro-genetic disorder that occurs in one in 15,000 live births. It is often misdiagnosed as cerebral palsy or autism. Characteristics of the disorder include developmental delay, lack of speech, seizures, and walking and balance disorders. Individuals with Angelman syndrome will require life-long care. (www.angelman.org). Annie & Ryan are the most patient and caring parents. 🙂 Alex has grown sooo much since the last time I saw him! He is so fun-loving and his smile is the best!

Lucky for me Alex LOVED my camera! And afterwards he was mesmerized by reviewing at the photos on the camera screen
